      The interview process was relatively standard, though notably informal and conversational in tone. There was a phone screen with HR, followed by a meeting with the CBO, and I was told there would be a final round with either the CMO or CEO depending on availability. On the second round, I spent most of the time walking through my background and presenting how I could contribute to the team. The interview seemed to go well. I received feedback that my response to one question was among the best they’d heard from candidates and that I’d be hearing from the HR Manager. That was over two weeks ago, and I’ve heard nothing since—not even a response to my follow-ups. I’m always fine with not being selected for a role, but the silence is frustrating and made tough to decide a path forward with other options I had. The lack of professional courtesy gives the impression they either weren’t genuinely hiring or were collecting ideas from candidates without real intent. I’m not normally one to comment on Glassdoor, but I think others interested should know what to expect.

      I interviewed for the Chief of Staff role in early September. My initial conversation with HR was great, the discussion flowed well, and I was quickly moved to speak with the CBO. That interview also went smoothly, though he was a bit difficult to read, but I left feeling confident about next steps, which were supposed to include a meeting with the CEO. Unfortunately, after that point, communication stalled. I followed up with HR multiple times and each response included promises of an update by a certain date, but I never received any follow-through. It became frustrating to continually check in without clarity or closure. Ultimately, I chose to move forward with other opportunities. This experience made it clear that their interview and hiring processes may still be developing, and candidates end up feeling like their time isn’t valued. Even a brief, definitive update goes a long way. I genuinely hope they continue to grow and succeed, and that they improve communication and structure throughout the hiring process.
