      Entretien

I started the process with Outbrain by applying through their Linkedin job posting. On my first call with HR everything went great and a video interview was scheduled for me with the hiring manager, who seemed like a very professional, nice person. At the end of our call, she said a home exam will be sent to me. From this point on, I had to chase HR every week or two, to get answers and to receive the exam (and received all sorts of different answers like the manager is ooo, holidays and so on). After 3 weeks of delays and queries from my side, I received an email from the HR actually telling me off that there wasn't any updates, and she'll contact me if she has news. Basically- don't call us, we'll call you. I understood and backed off. 2 weeks after that, the HR person contacted me, apologized for the way things went down and asked if I was still interested. I said yes and she emailed me the home exam with a 48 hours dead line. I turned in the exam on time. This was early December and I was told I should hear back within a couple of days. I did take under consideration that this was holiday time and things are more sluggish this time of year. A few days ago, after 3 more weeks of complete silence from their side, I decided to reach out to ask about an update. The response I got was absolutely disrespectful. The lady from HR emailed me: "We already talked on the phone and I told you we weren't continuing the process, no? because I wrote here to myself that we spoke." Forgetting to update me is one thing, but making me out to somehow forget that we talked and making me feel like I'm bugging her…? Sending me an email with a smiley face doesn't make it better. The entire process was full of disrespect, and was very disappointing. A shame

Thank you for the feedback and sorry things didn't align for you on this particular role. We also regret hearing the experience with our team fell short. The nature of this role across geographies with the holiday's caused unfortunate delays. Your feedback is very helpful and we will apply this learning to our process as we look to improve in the future. Best of luck in your search and Happy New Year.
