J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Teach for America en janv. 2009
Entretien
The interviewing process included a very detailed online form, which also included one or two essay questions, after which each candidate could choose an interview timeslot. The interview itself was conducted over the phone and was about one hour long.
I am not sure why I was ultimately not chosen for the positions open. They declined to give any feedback on the process (online form and/or interview). I found the phone interview to be a bit difficult as it is for me hard to 'talk' to someone without seeing them. It would have been fine to have an initial short phone interview followed by a face-to-face interview.
The interview was relaxed and they were certainly there to help. They made it clear they would help you through the whole process of becoming a teacher with your own mentor guiding you.
