J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Teach for America en avr. 2009
Entretien
I was recruited by this organization and invited to learn more about it. After speaking with a few members of TFA, I submitted my application. The recruiter was very kind and answered questions for many applicants. I was invited to participate in a phone interview. Prior to the interview, I was required to read a few articles and was told to be ready to discuss the articles. This portion of the interview was fairly simple. It was mostly fit questions to ensure that I could handle the difficulties of TFA.
I was then emailed a few days later and told that I was invited to the final round in which a presentation was required. I presented in front of a group and then was involved in some group work. This was followed by a 1 on 1 interview.

Question 1
What has prepared you to face and accept the difficulties many students face?
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 6 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Teach for America (Philadelphia, PA) en déc. 2024
Entretien
The interview was very different from most interviews but I was definitely well-prepared with the resources that TFA had offered in preparation. My interviewer was very nice and it often felt like a conversation between us about whatever question was asked which was nice.

You had to complete a demo in front of other candidates as well as recruiters. The demo itself was short and you had flexibility in what you “taught” for your lesson.
