I was actually in accounts payable and wanted to apply for the warranty customer service position. When the position came up, I applied as well as talk to the warranty manager in person. I applied and was offered the job in July, however I did not make my transition until November. I had to train my replacement once she was hired. The hiring process is what took the longest for me to make my transition.
