J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Tastemade (New York, NY)

      Entretien

I applied on their website and received an email to schedule a phone interview with HR about a few days after. The HR woman was nice and understanding (especially when the line got cut off on my end!) but I felt as the interview process went on, I felt uneasy about her. She was not disrespectful throughout the process but I just had a hunch. She asked mainly about myself, what I do and what I'm looking for. Not a bad interview. Afterwards, I met with the director through a video conference, who would have been my direct supervisor. He asked about my background and a project that I've done. When I told him, he seemed very interested in this project and it gave me high hopes of my chances at landing this job. It was half an hour long which was focused mainly on this one project. After we had finished, he told me I'd be meeting with two individuals, another director and the CFO. Upon meeting the other director via video conference, I still had my hopes up. He asked the same questions but was more focused on an interview rather than asking about my project and more personable. It was basic interview questions: what are your weaknesses, strengths, etc. I was told I MIGHT be meeting with the Controller as well. Before the interview was over, he had informed me there was a project to test my Excel skills and that the HR person would reach out with more information. She never reached out regarding the project nor did the director. I met with the Controller via video conference at 7AM EST because she was in the UK. She was a pleasant human being; very nice and seemed genuinely interested. I think up until this point, she was my favorite person to chat with (even at 7AM!). However, she did not seem to sure of the direction of the next steps. But I ended up meeting with the CFO. Although he seemed nice, he seemed uninterested the entire interview. He asked about the same project and for the names of my current supervisor and CFO, which I felt was inappropriate to ask. Overall, while it was great to meet some of the team, I felt that there were too many interviews with no value. The questions during each interview were similar and did not really offer an opportunity for them to really know me and what I can bring to the table. While I did learn about the position, it felt a little vague as well as to what I'd be doing. At some point, it felt that they were trying to understand this project so they can figure out a way to create something similar themselves; not a means to engage in meaningful conversation as any other answer I gave was met with "Cool...cool." or "Yeah, for sure". However, I will say that each of them did seem like nice individuals.
