I called and spoke to the HR person about my application and she said I could come in for an interview.
I dressed up slightly and went in the following week.
I took the 20 question test at the kiosk then went in the employees only back room area to wait for my interview. A very nice younger woman with facial piercings and awesome dyed hair come out to interview me. She was very nice and we chatted about other non-work related things.
She did the standard target interview and helped me through it, explaining a lot of things and was very cool and nice about it. At the end she said she really liked me.
After that she went and spoke to someone who I assume is the store manager and then he had me come in his office for the second part. He was very cold and not friendly. He asked me the same questions but never looked up from his papers and had his radio with all the crew talking over it on the whole time next to him (very distracting) after that he told me that they had more interviewees to go through and that I would get a call in a week. Im assuming I didnt get it because I hear they will hire you on the spot if you got it. Im going to call back tomorrow and ask about it anyways.
Overall it was OK.
Was just a quick 10 minute call from the store manager, didn't take long at all. He asked if I had the availability he was looking for and if I could be punctual. Smooth process
It was overall very brief from applying to hearing back. Was just a day of meeting with a couple managers and talking through a cashier job. Nothing too out of the ordinary for a role like this.

It was interesting. Not hard at all, straightforward, and pretty open people. It was an okay interview and what you’d typically expect. So don’t stress stress it, I mean kinda try your best
