I interviewed with three different people. They all asked similar questions like, â??Tell me about a time when you had to make an important decision with very little information.â? â??Tell me about a time when you did something and did not at first succeed.â? They also wanted to know what it was about Target that made me want to work there. They expected me to know what direction I would take in the company (owner of a store, regional manager etc). I think it would be helpful to have spoken to someone that works in management at Target and use some of their experiences as motivation to want to work there. They expected me to be really excited about the company, maybe even more so than about the actual position and my past experiences.

Interviewed 4 rounds, was transparent each time about being available to start asap, looking for immediate employment etc. At the end of the 4th interview, I was told there was no opening for the role I was applying for, but they were willing to hire someone for the bench, but "only if they were the right fit," but they also were not in any hurry. I asked why this wasn't disclosed earlier, and they did not have an answer. A week after my final interview, I received an automated rejection letter. I would have hoped after 4 rounds of interviews, that I could have received personalized feedback regarding the decision, but I was not given that courtesy.
