      Entretien

I applied online and received a phone call maybe two weeks later, and had an interview the next day. I was asked to finish the applicant questionnaire which consisted of situation-type questions designed to see how I interact with co-workers as well as test my knowledge of simple math, like ratios, percentages, etc. I finished, and then waited around for my interviewer to see me, which turned out to be the first of two. The first asked me simple questions about why I wanted to work for Target, why I should be hired, and my work experience, of which I have none. She read every question out of a booklet and summarized my replies, which annoyed me a little. When I was called back I was not told which position I would be interviewed for, and since I had applied for t three different locations and positions, I was a little embarrassed to ask what I was being interviewed for. After that was done, I went on to my second interviewer, who I believe was the supervisor of some sort as he mentioned having two supervisors below him.. This one was much harder, and probably where I faltered the most. We went into a small office, where he asked me a few questions about myself (which I believe was him being polite, as he might've noticed I was a little nervous) and about where I was going to school. He was also text-messaging with another manager or supervisor, I'm not sure, but he apologized and I was not bothered by it. He asked me questions like: "Tell me about a time where you had to place the needs of others before your own" and "Tell me about a time you disagreed with a policy" and "Tell me about a time where you worked in a group" (That one I was expecting, the rest and all the other questions I struggled with as this was my first job interview.) After quite a few questions like those, he described the position and what would need to be done and some of the perks. Since I'm female -heavy set, but don't have much strength- I asked about the lifting and possible weight of some of the boxes, to which he replied that there are different roles and places to be assigned so I would not be expected to lift something beyond my abilities. After that, I was done and shook his hand and left. I did not receive a offer and later received an email stating they could not offer me a job.

sat down in a small waiting area until one of the employees brought me around to the a small room. The interviewer seemed friendly enough. He asked if I had any questions and I asked him what he liked about working for the company. He told me what the job entailed and the schedule, which is from 4-8. He then asked me some questions from corporate. I don't think I did to well because I didnt go to far into detail. Then he thanked me and said he'd let me know in a few days once they finished interviewing other candidates.

I applied to Target early July and the next week I was contacted for an interview about 4-5 days later. The interview process for Target was very... interesting. I met with the merchandise flow manager person and she asked me a lot of questions like "tell me about a time you showed exceptional service." and questions like why do you wanna work at Target. This lasted around 15 minutes. Afterwards the manager of the logistics team came in and interviewed me. He pretty much asked the same questions, so... I gave him similar answers cause.. yeah I din't know what else to say. After that, ANOTHER guy came in, asked a few questions AGAIN, and then talked to me about availability and hired me on the spot. The interview lasted about 45 minutes, although I know friends who have interviewed for 2 hours before at Target.

I applied online via Indeed.com. I got a call from a member of HR about a week later asking if I was still interested in the job and to come in for an interview the next day. The interview only lasted about 20 minutes. The Executive Team Lead of Logistics interviewed me.
