I contacted the campus recruiter via email and expeessed interest in the position. I did research and saw Target was not going to attend the career fair at my university. I sent my resume to the recruiter and they set up a 10 min phone interview a few weeks later. I had a second phone interview a few weeks after that. I then had an in person interview with the Distrixt Team leader in a store near by. I was offered the internship on the spot

Process took pretty long with wait time for next interview — about 1 1/2 months.. but other than that, interviews were easy and chill. I believe they only accept juniors and seniors in college.
