      Entretien

It was quite easy, meet with team leads for an interview. Move on to the store manager. The manager was quite friendly introduced himself what the store is about. This was for a new store opening so the manager was thorough in looking for his future team members

      Entretien

I applied online. The next day, I got a call from Target. It was a prescreening call to go over basic details for the job I'm applying for and then to schedule an interview. I went to interview today (2 days later). As everyone said, there were two parts. They have two packets of questions. The first lady interviewed me was friendly. She started with confirming my availability. Then came the interview. Situational questions, and she took notes as I talked. There were 3 parts of the answer she's looking for - Situation/Task, Behavior (or Action), and Outcome. I saw these 3 parts on the packet, so make sure you word your response to answer clearly all 3 of them! I answered about 5-6 questions. I'll list all I can remember below. Then I was told to wait for about 10 minutes, and the second lady came. She was very nice and cheerful. She went over basic questions (Are you willing to promote Redcard? Are you familiar with iPhone or iPad?) then we started the situational questions. It was similar to the first one. There'd be like 1-2 new questions, but it was shorter than the first. After I answered the last question, she gave me the job on the spot. Overall, it's not an easy easy interview. The questions require you to put some thoughts into it. They are looking for candidates with great people skills. I've had a few jobs during uni so I used examples from my job exprience, but a lot of questions could be answered with experience from club activities, classes or volunteer experience too! My advice would be to practice beforehand. Try to have about 5 STAR answers ready, and you'll do great. I list all the questions I can remember. Aside from the 5 I added below, here are others: + If I were to contact your previous supervisor/teacher, what'd they say about your greatest area of improvement? + Tell me about a time you handled multiple tasks at once? / How do you prioritize? (This question came up in both interviews) + Tell me about a time you had to involve someone more experienced than you in a situation. + Tell me about a time your attitude changed the situation around. + Tell me about a time you went above and beyond to help someone.
