I applied online and was contacted by HR. HR took forever to schedule an interview, 2 weeks!. Once I started talking to HR, he/she mentions that the DS team comprises of Ivy League grads and immediately adds they do give a chance to non-ivy league grads. I immediately knew I was wasting my time and I am just another quota filling statistic. After a week got a cold reply saying not selected without any reason. Unprofessional and a huge waste of time.

Three round: phone screen ; tech screen and on-site.
First, you need to give a 30min presentation with DS team members.
Then, you will have 2 other technical rounds with the DS people. one is more about ML / DL, another is more focus on metrics / stats.
The interviewers are very nice, all teams are friendly.
The recruiter is one of the best recruiters I have seen, communicative and friendly.

I first met Tapad during a career fair held at my university. I talked to one of the data scientists there and really enjoyed it. One week later, I receive an email from the recruiter telling me that the applications for their Summer Internship Program are now open and that I should apply given my background.
The interviewing process is quite smooth and the HR is very responsive and helpful. I had 2 technical phone interviews with two different members of the Data Science team: basic questions about your previous experience and projects followed by some technical questions (math, machine learning).
Shortly after the second phone interview, I am invited to their NYC office for a round of onsite interviews.
The recruiter was very nice and showed me around. Then I had 3 interviews of about 30-45 min each where I met the two data scientists I had on the phone previously and the VP of Data Science. Here again some technical questions and a coding exercise. I really enjoyed talking to the team and the technical questions were very interesting. I felt like it was more a discussion than an interview, which is great!
I receive a final phone call after the winter break with a proposition to join the summer internship program.
