J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Talend (Dallas, TX) en déc. 2017
Entretien
Talend recruiter reached out to me from LinkedIn. I submitted a complete resume and had a screening call with him, which was very positive, casual but professional. I got a good vibe from Talend based on that initial call. This was around the holidays so there was a bit of a gap, then I spoke with the hiring manager. After that, a work task session was set up. There seemed to be a bit of confusion around that assignment, where I was told verbally I didn't need to complete any materials in advance but at the start of the meeting, it seemed that a powerpoint was in order. I don't know if this was unintentional, or if it was a way to watch how a candidate deals with an unexpected change of plans in a pressure situation..but it appears I handled it appropriately. The scenario for the task was provided in advance so there was a little mental prep. The manager and director did role play the personas for the task, the several 'scenes' were set up and we worked through them. They were very personable and professional, so again a good vibe from Talend. Passing that, I had an hour to talk with the senior VP of CSM. He does not pull any punches, and i really enjoyed my time talking with him about my background, and describing the interesting, challenging, and rewarding things I've done in my customer-facing experience. At each step, I had plenty of opportunity to ask questions, which I did, though often the length and depth of discussion covered most topics of interest or concern. Recruiting team was also flexible about scheduling around the job I had at the time, which took more effort that anticipated!

Question 1
They asked me about a customer situation that did not go as I thought it would.
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Talend en janv. 2020
Entretien
1) Interview with a recruiter. Call took nearly one hour and was very thorough.
2) Call with the hiring manager (45 minutes) during which we talked about customer success, my approach and experience.
3) Technical screening with a solution engineer.
4) Panel interview where we engaged in 2 roles plays. Unfortunately, I did not offer my best performance here, which is why I wasn't made an offer.
The process was fair and well structured. For the first time in months I was under the impression of being assessed by competent people who knew what customer success is about.
While it's a pity not having been offered a job, I can take a no from people who are that competent.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
My experience, how would I prepare for meetings with clients, what kind of questions would I ask, what do I know about big data, databases, cloud.
Loads of questions were based on the discussion we were having so it's difficult to list them all.
Thank you for your review of our interview process and we would love to keep in touch with you and also keep an eye on our careers site and if anything catches your eye let us know. We will also keep you in our visual for opportunities in the future as well. We hope to speak again in the future.

The interview process was very professional. The recruiter took the time out to explain the company, the org and the role and described the interview process in detail. My first round of telephonic phone screen was also very professional.
Even though, I could not complete the interview as I received another offer, I felt that Talend invests the time in the hiring process to make sure that it is a good match for prospective employees.
