The technical questions asked during the phone interview related to databases, networking and analytics. Some questions were: what is a field? what is a column? what is aggregate data? when do you use the Group By clause? What is a cube? What is active directory? describe how a proxy works? what is kerberos and what port does it use? how can you check all the open connections on a machine? what is average and what is median? what are dimensions and metrics? etc

After the technical questions there were lots of standard interview questions like: tell us about yourself, why did you apply, what are your strengths and weaknesses, give an example of great customer service you provided, give an example of great customer service you received, give an example of a disagreement you had with a colleague and how you handled it, give an example of something you improved in your current job, how do you see yourself in 5 years and many others. The onsite interview went on for full 3 hours...
