Entretien
I applied for the position online, and had an onsite interview. First, I had to do an English test, just like TOEIC, including listening and reading. Then there was an 1-1 interview. Mostly I was asked some questions related to my background, experiences, and some behavioral questions. It was about 1-2 hour.
On-site interviews with leadership team. 3 people in total on top of headhunter interview. There was no clear job description as it's just normal here in Taiwan with this company, everyone would kill to get hired for whatever job
I was originally invited to interview for a position in another department. However, after the initial interview, they felt that HR might be a better fit for me. As a result, they gave me the opportunity to interview for a position in HR instead. In total, I had four interviews: the first with the manager of the other department, the second with the manager of the HR department, the third was a language interview conducted by an employee fluent in the language (neither English nor Mandarin), and the fourth with an HR recruiter. The interview time was scheduled shortly after receiving the email, which I believe reflects the fast-paced culture at TSMC.

Q: Can you describe your responsibilities in your previous role and discuss any strategic challenges you encountered?
A: I didn't respond to the question well. After the interview, I realized the manager may have been seeking my spontaneous reaction.

2. On-site
