I applied for an R&D Engineer role, but the job posting itself was actually describing a System Engineer position, so the title was misleading from the start. First interview with HR was quick and easy, but quite impersonal (they use AI tools with prior consent). The second round with senior team members was okay, mostly basic questions with some technical ones, nothing unusual. The final interview was the worst part. It felt almost like a lie detector interview, where answers were being questioned mainly to catch inconsistencies rather than to understand my experience. It made the whole experience quite uncomfortable. Afterwards, I expected personalized feedback, but instead received a generic automated rejection late in the evening from a company email. For a final-stage candidate, that’s a huge red flag.

Applied online through LinkedIn, an internal recruiter reached out and asked for an initial call to discuss my background and the role. The role was advertised as hybrid and I was told during the screening it was on site full time
