      Entretien

      This was the longest drive I have ever attended. It started way back in June and ended in November, lasting a total of 5 months. The selection process was different this year as there was a training program. The complete selection process consisted of: NCET on MyAnatomy (Online Test) Coding Test Training Program (2 Months) HR Round Technical Interview 1 Technical Interview 2 Round 1 (Online Test): The online test was called NCET and was conducted on a platform called MyAnatomy. The total duration of the test was 90 minutes. The test was divided into these sections: General Aptitude - 10 Questions Verbal - 10 Questions Data Interpretation - 6 Questions Logical Reasoning - 10 Questions Coding - 2 Questions You need to solve at least one question from each section and pass at least one test case in the coding round in order to qualify for the next round. But some candidates did not even attempt the coding section and still got selected. Round 2 (Coding Test): The coding test has a duration of 1 hour and has 2 questions. One was based on DP and the other was an ad-hoc problem that required some simple approach to get the output. Again, this was not considered and candidates who couldn’t even pass one test case were still called to the next round. Round 3 (Training Sessions): This was conducted from 10th August to 10th October and was for a duration of 2 months. The training sessions were on various Computer Science and Industry Topics (OOPS, Android, ML/AI, Devops, Full Stack etc.). There were 60 sessions in total and were conducted online. Each technical session had an MCQ test associated with it. In order to clear this round you had to attend almost all sessions and all the 25-30 tests that you had to take without missing a single one. Round 4 (HR Round): The round was held on Skype and you need to make sure your skype photo shows your face. This was supposed to be just a HR Round but they mixed GD into it. You were supposed to introduce yourself and then they give a topic and speak about it. Some candidates didn’t even have their camera on. Even if you did not get a chance to speak in the GD you could still expect to go to the next round. Round 5 (Technical Interview 1): This round was conducted after 3 days. It was held on Skype as well and each candidate was given 30 minutes. The first few questions mostly revolved around your resume, so it's better to know your resume thoroughly. Then they asked a few questions and queries from DBMS and also some questions from OS. The interview ended with 2 simple coding questions: Palindrome Check Binary Search You had to code them out. Round 6 (Technical Interview 2): This round was again held on Skype and was for around half an hour. The round started off with in depth on my projects and internships. Then I was asked some questions on Big Data, Map Reduce and Hadoop. I was also asked about different ML models such as KNN and K Means clustering and when and where I would use them. Then I was asked to code Merge Sort and tell it’s time complexity.

      Entretien

      The whole recruiting process of TEKsystems was very smooth and transparent . I got the job description mail from my Training & Placement department about TEKsystems. I went through the job description and researched about the company. I had a good response about this company and engraved my thirst to join this company. This process consisted of 5 different types of rounds in order to get qualified. 1st round was a basic online round and consisted of some basic questions from aptitude , reasoning , verbal and 2 coding questions. (the coding question were of bit medium level and i suggest everyone to practice on leetcode) Around 500-600 students were given the exam and 120-150 students were qualified for the next round. The 2nd round was an online Group discussion round . We were divided into groups of 20 and there were 5-6 groups created and the topic was about 'social media' . I never experienced such types of rounds and I enjoyed that round. After this round only 24 were selected for the technical round. The 3rd round was a technical interview round and there were 2 interviewers . I was welcomed and both were very friendly. The interview lasted around 90mins approx and only 3 questions were asked to me. Yes !! only 3 questions for 75-90mins… They asked me questions and then asked very detailed questions. If I count every single question then it will be around 40-50. (don't worry, the questions were very easy.. If you know the concept). The questions are like If you have to make a chess game project in Java, what will be your approach in designing it? (only tell the what all variables , methods will be used) (if you are strong in OOPS then only you can answer this.because there are many sub-questions also asked) Different keys in database I was also asked to write programs by sharing the screen . The programs are basically medium level. I didn’t remember the question but I can say it was using HashMap. (Make sure you have good practice in java’s Collection class). After the interview only 6 of us were selected for the final HR round. The 4th round was the HR round . It was a normal HR round . After finishing the round we talked about the working culture and about some scenarios. She was very friendly . After that it took 2 days for results to be out . and all the 6 of us were selected.

      Campus Recruitment: There was one online assessment followed by a Group Discussion, a Technical interview and an HR round. Few were called for a managerial interview round, but I wasn't one of them.
