Two phone interviews with Tek staff asking me the same redundant questions about if I had skills which met the client job description and were very clearly laid out on my resume. At end of second interview Tek staff told me they needed to speak with two references before they would submit me to client. I told them I would be happy to provide references if we reached that point. They wouldn't budge. I reluctantly gave them two references. Recruiter contacted them as soon as we hung up the phone and instead of asking them for a reference for me began to solicit their information and ask if they were looking for a new position! Both people were sitting within 50' of me. Both of them told the recruiter no, they weren't interested, and the recruiter hung up, without ever mentioning me. I tried contacting recruiter the following day, and a few day later, but they ghosted on me. I won't work with Tek again.

They did set up interviews for me but I felt that they really didn't have my qualifications at heart to find me a good fit. It seems this company is looking to fill positions that no one in their right mind would fill due to the low starting pay and or work environment.
