I came across Syntronic at a virtual job fair organised for Ottawa Tech companies. It was a public chat forum where the HRs interacted with the job seekers. The HRs were pretty quick to respond. My resume was forwarded to one of the hiring managers who contacted me immediately on the chat forum to have a 15mins video interview. It was a technical interview where he wanted me to explain my relevant experience in DevOps (Jenkins in particular). I was honest with my answers and at the end of our call, he let me know that he has decided to forward my resume to the other hiring managers, and if they agree to my profile they'd get back to me.
After two weeks I got an email from one of the managers letting me know the date and time they had chosen for my interview. Here, I would like to mention that I was not given an opportunity to provide my availability and decide the interview date accordingly. Luckily I was available on the day and time they had set for my interview. The interview was a video call conducted by two hiring managers and was an hour-long. The call took place on a Friday and I got my job offer on the following Monday. The process was pretty quick and straightforward.
