This was a contract position and the HR person multiple times said things like 'I just want to be clear about the position' and ' Just to be clear you will have zero benefits'. It was a red flag to me that I was warned so much. They had a start date in mind and I had a vacation planned already for a few weeks later. I wanted them to guarantee I would be able to take leave but they could not and would not explain how taking time off would work considering there are zero benefits. I decided not to continue interviewing with them.
