The first deception is that there are in San Diego, CA and training is provided there. The telephone interview was suppose to be from someone you would think in San Diego, but the person called was in Holland MI. Then at the end of the interview a contract was supposed to be sent. It was a conference in April that cost $175 to attend. Then daily webinars. Another email was sent as a producer contract, in the producer contract it required that you provided EFT, not direct deposit, EFT, where they take money from you. When I emailed the hiring manager about the emails asking about the contract, he advised that I would have to complete the application first then in the application the contract was in the application. That's not done in the insurance industry. You look to see what the contract levels are. You also pay for your leads, but never see what the cost of that is either. When I reached out to the hiring manager and advised as such and that if that I'm not going to see what my contract is before applying that I was going to pass. Have not heard back from him.
