GHOST HIRING
They conduct a ghost hiring process. It feels like a scam. They don’t come with the intention of recruiting candidates but instead make students work on projects, documentation, and share their ideas for free. In return, they give collective feedback that none of the students performed well, claiming we lack the necessary skill set. Despite completing my project exceptionally well, they still didn't select it. I even heard from other college mates from tier 1 institutions quoting they too had the same ghost recruiting process. Add this pointThey are not transparent in providing evaluation criteria, and announcing the results was an unnecessarily prolonged process. They postponed the results 5-6 times before finally stating they didn’t need anyone.
They came, took our brainstormed ideas, projects, and documentation for free within two days, and left.
Round 1:
55 MCQs in 15 minutes (ML, Statistics, PyTorch)
Round 2:
We were given four assignment statements to choose from. It was required to implement the solution using FastAPI and Streamlit. We were given 2-3 days to complete it, prepare documentation, record a demo video, and submit everything.
Round 3:
We were given an on-the-spot problem statement related to machine learning, along with datasets, and were asked to perform preprocessing, EDA, model building, etc..
