I recently interviewed for a UX Designer position at Surge Global and was impressed with the thoroughness and professionalism of the process. After submitting my application, I was invited to a phone interview to discuss my portfolio, followed by a design challenge relevant to the company's product. I then participated in a full day of on-site interviews with various team members, which included a presentation of my design challenge solution, portfolio review, behavioral questions, and discussions about my experience and approach. Throughout the process, communication was clear and timely, and I felt the interviews provided a comprehensive assessment of my skills and fit for the role. The interviewers were knowledgeable and engaged, and I left with a strong understanding of the team dynamics and company culture. About a week after the on-site interviews, I was excited to receive a job offer. Overall, while challenging, I found the interview process to be well-structured, informative, and a fair evaluation of my capabilities as a UX Designer.
