This company has no intention to hire you and is not respectful to the candidates time and efforts. Unfortunately, I ignored the GlassDoor reviews. The company also has a profile of favoring Chinese Individuals - all but one of my interviewers were Chinese. I went through the end stage of the Data Analyst interview and was grilled excessively in behavioral rounds. All interviews were behavioral round. It felt more like a mockery rather than a genuine curiosity of sharing knowledge and technical skills. I could also tell the interviewers asked me question about technical questions that they themselves did not understand. The Data Team is not a true Technology team, it's filled with people who have picked up SQL and Python and haven't learned the fundamentals. I interview well, and have been in Technology for several years so i was at the last round - it was very odd that they hit me with an rejection last minute. The recruiter was short, rude and had no respect for proper communication. I did not receive any Technical rounds, not a single whiteboard or a coding screen. They are also not a premier financial institution such as Optiver. The CEO is living from his past legacy at Morning Star. I have eyed the role and it's has been open for several months - other GlassDoor reviews have similar feelings. Unfortunately, companies have no repercussion for this type of behavior. They have no intention of actually hiring and are just playing the market.

1st round: HR screening call 2nd round: screening call with a senior product analyst I never heard from them again after my second interview, nor did I respond to my follow-up emails. They didn't even send me a formal rejection email.
