      Entretien pour Shopper Marketing Manager

      Candidat à l'entretien anonyme
      Croydon, Angleterre
      Aucune offre
      Expérience négative
      Entretien moyen

      Candidature

J'ai postulé en personne. Le processus a pris 3 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Superdrug (Croydon, Angleterre) en déc. 2019

      Entretien

I did not comment this just because I did not get an offer. But, just to point out what I experienced was rather weird and no sense. I submitted the online application in Oct 2019, next day I received email saying it was unsuccessful. (Fine). Then 1.5 months later, I received call from HR asking if I am still interested with the job with them as they have came up with a new role. I said great, and they briefed me the role and asked me about my work experience etc. And funny enough, the new role that she mentioned to me is exactly the previous role that I applied for and they rejected, so I think they were pretty desperate as the role still open on their website and they just call up to applicants who applied before this. Then, I waited another 2 weeks, HR called me and asked me to attend interview in their Croydon office. So everything was ok, I went to the interview mid of Dec and they said they will inform the decision only in January 2020. So second week of January, I received email from them saying there's no offer, and thank you for applying with them. But best part? Instead of quoting the name of the interviewer, she quoted 2 names that I did not even heard of. And she thank me for attending the final interview, but in fact before this the interviewer told me that the interview I attended is not a final one, they will invite me to come in again for presentation and assessment if I got shortlisted. I wrote to her to clarify this and she told me that it was a mistake because she was talking to someone else while writing to me etc. I am really really disappointed with the HR team and probably this is the worst HR team I ever encountered as this is so much lack of professionalism and efficiency. And FYI, the role was open since Oct 2019 and they are still hiring in Jan 2020.
