Applied online ... got an email to answer a pre-recorded messages over the phone .... I called ..While answering you have to keep your answers short and vague because they only allow you a couple of seconds to answer . A week later I got another email by a recruiter to set up an interview with the hiring manager . I accepted ... the recruiter gave me wrong directions upon my interview I had to chase my interviewee around a 20+ floor building ... the recruiter was unavailable phone call after call. I ended up using the lobby phone and the employee directory to identify the hiring manager that was suppose to interview me . Got a hold of her we started the interview ...the questions were vague her answers were vague , the whole time I felt like I wasn’t going to get the job because they didn’t want to tell m much about it ... even felt a little bit of age discrimination vs. my experience as It was called out.... Very awkward. It ended in a awkward state ... I figured maybe this is just their personality.. normal in the construction field. A week later I followed up with the recruiter and no answer at all . I glanced over the career page to check if the job posting was still available ... normally this is updated once someone is hired and it was not there ... so I forgot about it ...a week later I get an email saying they proceeded with other candidates... this whole process took about 1 month . Please be more courteous to candidates’s time & I didn’t even get to see how much was the salary range for this position . So if someone knows this ... please share . I would have liked to know .
