I applied in mid-May and I received a call in mid-June to make an appointment for a face-to-face interview. I reveived a confirmation via email but I noticed the person who will interview me is not the same I was told in the phone, and he is a sales manager. I wondered there is an error so I contacted the HR. He confirmed me that it is an interview for the credit analyst role, and as the first person is not available so the sales manager will do the interview. I believed.
However, in the first two minutes of the interview when the sales manager was showing me the office, I have a great doubt so I asked whether there is an error because it was supposed to be an interview for the credit analyst role. He confirmed my thought and asked me if I am interested for a financial security advisor role. I told that I am interested in financial analysis and risk management.
I called the HR later and asked whether it is an interview for the credit analyst role. He said yes, so I told him I already met the slaes manager and it was not. He then began to explain...I try to figure out a solution with him, but he said nothing he can do because the office is independent.
This is what happened to me today and I try to be as objective as possible. Well, I hope you will have a better experience than me.
