Applications are due around March and phone interviews begin shortly after. Finalizing everything with HR sometimes takes until arrival at the start of operations (mid-way through May). Done via phone call since applicants are usually far away, scheduled by e-mail ahead of time. First time applicants should expect around it to last around 30 minutes. Department director will call and just ask about your relevant Scouting and outdoors experience. Returning staff (seasonal position) receive around a 5-10 minute courtesy phone call. Background check is required.
