I went through a lengthy interview process for a senior role in the advancement office - three rounds of in-person interviews including a group interview with potential reports. What was disheartening was that after all of that effort, Suffolk University did not have the courtesy to let me know that I was not selected for the position - not even a form email. Ghosting is unprofessional and unbecoming, especially in a people-focused area such as development. Not impressed.
