Initial screening / HR round
Possibly a call from HR or recruiter to check your basic fit: your experience in HR, what areas you’ve worked in (recruiting, benefits, payroll, compliance etc.), salary expectations, notice period, etc.
They may ask why you’re interested in working in an architecture / BIM‑enabled firm (if that’s relevant), or whether you are aware of domain‑specific HR needs (e.g. recruiting for technical roles, design, architecture).
Deeper interview / Managerial one‑on‑one
A more detailed discussion about your HR experience: examples of handling difficult situations, hiring process design, onboarding, retention, performance management.
Scenario or behavioral questions (e.g. “tell me about a time when …”) to judge judgment, ability to work under deadlines, dealing with multiple stakeholders (architects, project managers, etc.).
Perhaps some test of how you manage HR tools, policies, perhaps asking for your approach to HR issues.
Questions / discussion about expectations
Work hours, flexibility, how performance is assessed.
Maybe a conversation about company culture, what they expect from HR in supporting growth, learning etc.
Offer / negotiation
If selected, you’ll get the offer, followed by negotiation of salary, benefits, notice period etc.
