I was sought out and over a 4 month period went through a series of phone calls, 3 personal interviews, a shift shadow and one last personal interview where the offer was made. It did take so long because of myself. I was approached and built a relationship in the first series of interviews but when the company I was with at the time, found out I was made a substantial offer and promotion to remain with them. They contacted me again months later and I looked deeper into the opportunity and future of the company. With this an offer was made again and caused me to rethink. After spending time on a shadow shift I saw the job in a new light and realized how much more I would enjoy this. I accepted the offer. I'm sure it would have only taken a fraction of the time in a normal situation.
