The interview process was fine until the end. I did one phone interview and two in-person. The phone and first in-person were relatively easy and straightforward questions. In the first in-person I was interviewed by my would-be immediate coworkers. Questions were very personality-based to assess cultural fit, as well as some specific experience-related questions.
The final interview was difficult and nit picky. Pulling apart my resume for unrelated, long ago, short periods of time off between jobs is one example. It was one person in particular and I felt like this person was trying to "get me" with the interview questions, vs. having a conversation about my experience. My experience had been good up until that point and felt like I had developed a good relationship with the hiring manager. But the hiring manager never got back to me letting me know whether I had gotten the position or not, which I found disrespectful. I always get a call or a nice email if I get that far in the process and didn't get the position. Very unprofessional.
Furthermore, there was a pretentious air to the place. A "we're so cool we're a tech company and give free food on Fridays"...whoop de doo. First off, you're a travel company, not a tech company. Second, you're in Waltham...

first, there is a phone interview. It is about some basic info and questions for resume. After one week, there is an onsite interview. Meet with 4 people in one day. Questions are about resume and experience, test the ability to solve problem and finally give a case to analyze.
