Interview process was fairly standard, however, after the interview someone at the company reached out to my current employer WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!! I am still shocked that this could happen and absolutely baffled that anyone would think this is a reasonable thing to do. I had not let my employer know that I was exploring other options so naturally this put me in a tough position. I removed myself from the process prior to soliciting an offer. Also beware: every single person I interviewed with mentioned the rude personality of the accounting team lead. Props for being honest, but perhaps it is time to rethink the management style if this is such a major sentiment throughout the department.
