After a long 1.5 month process (assignment + 4 interviews), and after being asked and providing my salary expectations *TWICE*... they offered me the job, with a salary 40% UNDER my clearly stated expectations and compensation history. Any employer of integrity would stop the process to align salary expectations at those points. They clearly decided not to. Beware...
