This interview process took an extremely long time, around four months and three interviews. Two phone interviews and one on-site which lasted four hours. It wasn't that organized. Be careful with HR. I called to confirm the address, and they gave me the wrong address, listed the wrong position in multiple emails, and apparently they were supposed to send me an agenda for the on-site, four-hour interview. That never happened. Everyone was nice, but I think the process could've been better organized.

Phone interview with a recruiter was followed by a 1:1 interview with the hiring manager about 2 weeks later. They were quick about scheduling an on-site visit, which was a 4 hour visit to the Atlanta offices, from 8:00 am-12:00. The on-site interview consisted of a panel of 3-4 people asking skills questions and some situational questions, a mock ethnographic interview followed by my analysis, a more informal one-on-one conversation with a person who would have been a co-worker, and a brief rounding up with the hiring manager. Overall it was a pleasant experience, but the offer didn't come until about three weeks after my on-site interview. By that time, I had already moved on mentally and was being considered for more attractive options that would not have required a cross-country move. Adding that the offer itself was quite low, based on my expectations and qualifications, I declined. (I didn't relish the idea of commuting to work by 8am in Atlanta traffic either.) Still, I probably would have accepted the offer if they had moved faster and I hadn't continued exploring other options. The only odd thing about the whole experience was the complete lack of communication from the recruiter I was working with after I sent her my decline of the offer. No follow up, nothing. I might add that the drug testing regimen that they require new hires to go through seems antiquated, considering that many states now have legal and medical cannabis.
