Both my initial barista interview and Shift Supervisor interview were great and comfortable. The whole interview felt very conversational, and they mainly focus questions towards your general attitude and ethic around stressful situations/everyday tasks. They ask you if you’d like a free drink before, which is nice! For the shift interview, they brought in the District Manager, who was kind and really felt like she wanted to get to know me. You are typically vetted by your manager prior to meeting with the DM, so the interview is more so a second opinion. For the barista position, I actually got a call back as soon as I got back into my car to leave. For the shift position, it was a few days before my manager told me I got the position and was set to start training. As a barista, however, I slowly was shown shift responsibilities prior to the interview. I accepted the barista position, but later turned down the shift supervisor position due to a better offer at another company. Overall a great process!

A variety of asks; mostly scenarios and conflict resolution. If you have previous in management at previous jobs you'll be fine! They want quite a few examples of responses to stress.

Asked about passions, hobbies and why you want to work there as well as previous experience. Not difficultly and was laid back. Not much preparation needed. Be prepared to talk about hobbies and what beverages and food items you enjoy.
