The second phone interviewer did not call me at the time we scheduled to talk, apparently she was out for lunch and didn't remember we were supposed to have phone interview, I felt that was very unprofessional, so I wrote a check-in email after a call they missed, she finally called me 28 mins late, she didn't even appologize for calling late, and immediately I found this recruiter has discrimination against freelancers, I have 5+ years of corporate experience and several serious freelance jobs that required signing NDA, but she still complaining about my background for not taking traditional role, no matter how I explained, she just doesn't have trust to candidate is mature responsible person and she literally was trying to argue with me how worthless to work as a freelance designer which was very disrespectful and rude. Typical Chinese culture, this paranoid HR has a very wrong reason to bully candidate and I was undervalued in that one hour of phone conversation, I had to put SC in my blacklist of companies not to apply to, remember candidate can be your future client, show some respect to job applicants.
