I went to the mass interview at a holiday inn. There were lots of people, but the process was fairly expedient. Drug test done on the spot. The deli manager interviewing me was very helpful in answering questions I had about the position, as well as willing to accommodate family obligations. After waiting to receive word on my start date for two weeks, I was informed that I was ineligible for hire, because of a problem with my background check. When a copy came in the mail, the check showed I had a felony. It was inaccurate, and after calling the background company and sending repeated emails it was changed accordingly. Unfortunately, it was too late and the position was filled. While I understand the new store needed to get up and running, it was disappointing that such an egregious error could be made without any fact checking.

Interview was a simple process. Took a few minutes to ask some questions about myself, experience, and interest. I was offered the position a little later in the day. Accepted and was able to start in two weeks.
