I applied online and through Sprouts chatbot, set up an interview for that upcoming friday at 1pm. I even received multiple text confirmations for the interview. When I showed up a little early for the interview, the first employee that I met seemed annoyed that I was early. I was then told to wait in the cafe. About 5/6 minutes after 1pm, the manager finally appeared to tell me that they do not do interviews on Fridays and that the chatbot made a mistake. She asked if I can come back on Monday at 1pm and I said yes. When I showed up for my interview on monday, the manager(a different one) said "I don't have any interviews." multiple times before adding, "We don't do interviews on mondays because it's busy" and then asked that I come back on Wednesday at 3pm for an interview. Despite being rescheduled twice, I really needed a job so I said yes. I showed up 5 minutes early on Wednesday for my interview to ensure that I'm not "too early" and let one of the front-end cashier's know that I'm here for my interview with ___. The cashier then called for ___ on the overhead speaker to come to the cafe for her scheduled interview. I thanked the cashier and waited in the cafe. When 3:10pm came, I looked around and saw no one coming to the cafe and there were customers so I couldn't ask the cashier to call for ___ again. I sat down and kept waiting. I ended sitting and waiting for over thirty minutes and no one came, so I inevitably left. This has been an absolute waste of my time. I've never been treated this way when interviewing. This experience has taught me that I would never want to work at Sprouts if this is how they treat you before you even get the job.
