In our first call, the conversation was for me to share about my background and ask questions about Spotify, the role, the process etc The second stage was a technical interview with 2 other researchers on the Spotify team. There was no portfolio presentation. The focus was on skills, understanding of research methods, as well as the impact of research. It also touched on my areas of interest as a researcher. Then I had an interview with the hiring manager, which was a conversation about myself, background, expectations etc. It was similar to the recruiter interview but more in-depth My recruiter was helpful and answered the questions I had through the process
