I was asked to initially come meet with the department chair for a conversation. I had applied for a full time position and not made the paper cut. A few months later, an opening for adjunct opened and I was contacted to see if I was interested. A week after the conversation with the department chair, I was invited for a formal interview with the dean, chair, and 2 faculty members. I was offered the position a week later.
