J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 2 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez Spirit Airlines (Chicago, IL) en oct. 2014

      Entretien

The FIRST thing I will advise anyone who is going to a Spirit Airlines Flight Attendant interview is to BRING FOOD AND SNACKS. When they say you'll be there all day, you will truly be there all day. The first round, I arrived at 7:40AM and didn't leave until 6:45PM. Ridiculous. In my PDF file they sent me, they said the event in Chicago started at 8AM and check-in is at 7AM. Come as early as possible because there will be a LOT of people (when I went, there were over 140 people registering in the morning). Have all the documents they tell you ready to go by the time you check-in. When we finally started, it was around 8:40AM and they spent an hour introducing the company and giving an overview of flight attendant life. We then took a little break and then it was time to "introduce" ourselves. Everyone please keep in mind, that during this time, you have about 10-15 seconds to make an impression, so make it count. You walk to the front of the room in front of all the staff and the rest of the candidates. The staff is judging you on how you look (wear professional attire and dress to impress), and if you follow directions. Don't be nervous because a LOT of people looked and sounded nervous... Just go up there and do your thing. For my group, they instructed us to state our name, the number they provided us, where we are from, and to pull a question out of the bowl, read it aloud and answer it. So many people forgot to say the number and/or where they are from. Make sure to follow directions! ALSO - I sat all the way in the back row, and there were two flight attendants from Spirit Airlines there judging everyone - so make sure you SPEAK UP so they can hear you. If they didn't hear you, they would mark you down. After everyone went, they said to go on a break, and be back in 30 minutes. Well, they were late and didn't show up for another 30 minutes. A lot of waiting around! Then they made their first cut. If they call your number, consider your interview process over. They gave us an hour lunch break and to be prepared to stay for 3 more hours when we returned. We started back at 1:30 for the second round of interviews. They split us up into 3 large groups, and into groups of 6 after that for the group exercise. In 20 minutes, you are required to create an airline and state 5 of the main qualities that your airline has for its flight attendants. Keep in mind: there are 1-2 staff members judging you while you are doing the exercise so make sure you participate and show your leadership skills! When you present, you have about 10-15 seconds to talk, so again, MAKE IT COUNT. Afterward, they took a break and said to be back in the main room in thirty minutes. Again, it took an hour for them to make their decision. Lots of waiting around, so you won't be sorry you brought all your food with you! After they announced their decision, they scheduled everyone one-by-one to come in the next day for a face-to-face interview. The Face-to-Face interview: I was scheduled for 4PM but didn't even interview until 5PM since they were running late. Make sure you get there early, as the flight attendants who check you in note what time you arrive. The interview lasted maybe 10-15 minutes with two staff members. They first ask you to read a script as if you were a flight attendant. The questions they asked were pretty standard (i.e. why Spirit Airlines, why a Flight Attendant position, what do you do when you have an issue with a co-worker, etc). They even role played with me: one of the staff was the "passenger" while the other was the "flight attendant." The passenger was complaining that he had to pay for water, while the flight attendant was deliberately brushing him off like he didn't care. They ask YOU what would you do in that situation and to role play as if you were the other flight attendant on board. After your interview, they tell you to go back to the waiting room. After they interview everyone in the group, they call your name. If your name is called, you didn't make it, unfortunately.

he airline’s flight attendant interview process begins with an online application, followed by an assessment day involving group exercises and role-play scenarios. Successful candidates then proceed to a 1-on-1 interview, where their communication and customer service skills are evaluated. The next stage is a uniform check to ensure professional appearance, followed by a final review. Those who pass all stages receive a training offer before starting their career. The process assesses teamwork, adaptability, and service excellence
