phone interview, then about 2 hours in-office, face-to-face.
Ultimately, the interview process did not flesh out in proper detail, nor proper ultimate presentation, what exactly what the role was, and its scope/compensation. So much so in fact, that in proceeding with the offer process, the entire complexion of the role changed from what it seemed to be from the start. This made the role something that could not be accepted due to its ultimate reality in its compensation, and scope, and expectations. Be more transparent and decisive and overt in the outlaying of what the role is, and what it would entail. Allow prospects to know exactly what they are signing up for, so as to be transparent and fair and upfront. Be detailed in exactly where the trajectory of the role and its connection to the company's success, lie.
