Probably the least professional interview I've ever taken. It was a video call, but the interviewer didn't turn their camera on. I was told this person was conducting the interview because no one else wanted to do it and they liked talking with people - although they were not technical and the hiring manager was out on vacation - and also that because they liked talking with people, their approach to interviews was just to have a chat and see where it went. Several minutes before my interview slot was over, the next candidate entered the video call, to the interviewers' surprise, and so my interview ended abruptly. Honestly, I am glad not to have to pretend to be excited to work with the outdated technology mentioned in the job posting (Backbone and jQuery).
