The interview process is clumsy, and cumbersome, or at least it was for me. The first thing is they send you a link where you have to record a video. In my case, I didn't have time to complete it in the short window they give you, so I had contacted the person who had emailed me the link to see if she could reset mine. Instead she sent me a link to sign up for a time slot for a live interview, which I did. I showed up at the time slot I had signed up for and nobody was there. I then emailed the person to question this, and she THEN showed up, which was ten minutes late. The first question she asked me was "Who are you?
What was the position you had applied for, and in what location?" I then tell her, and she asks me if I had completed the video interview, and I responded that I had sent her a request to reset my link, and that she had then sent me the link to sign up for a live interview, which I did. She then goes into an explanation of how vital it is to complete the video interview, and how hard it is to reset the link. At that point, I explained to her that due to the cumbersome, clumsy...disaster that this experience had been that I would remove myself from consideration. I would honestly expect more from an organization such as Spectrum. At least for the recruiter to know in advance who she was speaking to and to show up on time. Unprofessional.
