Probably the worst interview process I've ever seen. First, its a phone interview that's pretty normal. Then they send you a link to spend about an hour taking a personality profile, and then an assessment thats essentially like an SAT. WHY they make you take an SAT test, I have no idea. The role had nothing to do with whether or not I knew off the top of my head (because you can't use calculators!) what 30% of 45% of 275 is. Really ridiculous. But ok.
The WORST part of this is the second time they make you take this SAT-like test. Because they a) watch you via webcam and b) make you SHARE YOUR SCREEN. So when they email you the test, during the call, you have to open your email with them watching. They can see everything. They saw all the files on my desktop. It's not that big of a deal, but did they need to see my emails and the background picture of me and my friends on vacation? Nope. Super huge invasion of privacy. Not that I got an offer for an in-person interview, because I didn't, but if I did, I would not have accepted it. I don't want a company that feels the need to spy on me. You have to trust I'm going to be a good worker, like I need to trust you're going to be a good employee. Hard pass on this company. Do yourself a favor, and unless you're super good at logic puzzles and off-the-cuff math - don't even waste your time.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Pretty standard questions from HR recruiter. Tell me about yourself, why are you interested in Sovos, why should we be interested in you. It's the horrific SAT-like assessment that's outrageous. Its hard and not even slightly relevant to the work you'll be doing.

Standard HR recruiting and bizarre online aptitude test. The test consisted of a number of logic, math, vocabulary and reasoning questions. The time limit was impossible to beat (answering all 50 questions seems impossible unless you're a math savant).
