      Entretien

Applied online and two weeks later got an invitation for a case interview over Skype. At the start of the case interview I faced rude and unprofessional treatment by one of the interviewers, once I solved the problem the guy got impressed and reacted differently, the other person made repetitive questions. A week later got an invitation to an in person case interview and behavioral interview. Here, during the interview I was asked to solve a problem with given data, as I was trying to structure the problem I kept being interrupted and sheets of paper manipulated and taken away, when asked for information I wasn’t given the info until the other interviewer interfered with his interviewing partner to correct him and tell him to describe better and give the information I was actually asking for but ended up solving the problem correctly because they confirmed the numbers. During the behavioral interview, I was interviewed by three persons with high positions. The interview was misleading because despite I have a good answer to their questions they would ask in a frustrated manner to give another answer. They asked almost nothing related to my skills background or my achievements, what I presented in my resume was completely ignored. If you are Latino, expect bias and a very well hidden form of discrimination in ways you can’t act legally. It’s more than clear that they manipulated the process intrinsically and very cleverly to disqualify candidates. Go to their careers website, study they culture and values and most likely you will face the complete opposite of what they preach. It’s not an inclusive company because 5 out of the 7 interviewers were Asian, particularly Chinese and some shared the same last name which is evidence of preference nepotism and favoritism. Lastly, before leaving their building I had a “meet and cheer” moment with other members of the team where I asked questions about the team and their work and they asked things related to my background and my experience. One of the guys was extremely rude and one dimensional because I would tell him about my research and ways of doing things and he would get really frustrated and argue back with a very deep Chinese accent that I wouldn’t even understand much of what he was saying
