I had a very pleasent phone interview followed by a visit in Lausanne. Company headquarters are very nice and modern looking and it was generally a pleasant experience. I got an offer but in the end declined since I had an offer from another company and at this point, Sophia Genetics didn't have a compensation plan in place (they were working on it). What I didn't like was, that my travel expenses from UK to CH where not reimbursed even though I asked for it a few times through the recruiter. I was about 500 GBP out of pocket. Recently another recruiter contacted me about a position at Sophia Genetics that sounded great and would very much fit my profiler, but this experience led me to decline it in the first place. It wasn't only the re-reimbursement but the total lack of communication (like, sorry, we don't re-imburse) that lets me doubt the reliability of management.

Bisogna fare 5 colloqui, uno con HR e altri più specifici per il ruolo. Ho dovuto preparare una presentazione di prova in cui simulavo l’incontro con un nuovo cliente. Mi sono state fatte domande più o meno specifiche in merito anche ai prodotti che offre l’azienda.
