I had a good conversation with one of their technical recruiters, after which I was given a coding challenge which requested I spend no more than 2 hours on it.
I put in the time, submitted a link to the repository, and received an email stating they would not be moving forward with my candidacy. I replied, politely asking if they had any feedback, and was ghosted.
If a candidate puts 2hrs into a coding challenge, the least you can do is take more than 2 minutes to compose a canned reply.

Question 1
Get-to-know-you questions, only, didn't get past the recruiter.
J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez Solace en nov. 2025
Entretien
I spoke with a recruiter for about 20 minutes then. Solace had me work on a SPA React application with vague instructions on my own time. They requested that I upload my project to a public github repository and open up a PR to show my work. They provided no feedback and told me they were moving on with other candidates.

Question 1
Update the application given from a zip file. The instructions were vague and open-ended.
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Solace (Remo, VA) en sept. 2025
Entretien
I applied to Solace and received an auto-reject a few days after. I then receive outreach from an internal recruiter saying they want to interview me which was a bit confusing given that I received an auto reject already. Chat with the recruiter talk about the company do the initial screening and I am invited to do a two hour technical assessment. I do the assessment. It's well designed open-ended and I felt gave a good opportunity to demonstrate how I work in what areas I would address according to the challenge. I put the work in submitting my assessment and receive an auto reject the next day. Given that I just put two hours of my time and I reached out to the recruiter if there was any feedback and the response was that they don't get feedback it's past or fail. Giving the time wasting affect here I would not recommend interviewing at this company process is a little backwards and at the end of the interview series they want you to fly on site to complete a two hour interview which given how they've treated others in the process that you can read your glass door could also be a huge waste of time.
