The interview process at Merkle Sokrati for the position of Business Analyst focusses on Aptitude, Social Compassion, Team Management skills of the candidate. The process has 04 rounds viz; Psychometric Test and Aptitude Test; Guestimates and Aptitude; Team Empathy, Client Escalation, and Business Thought Process; HR Interview.
Round 2 Guestimate Question:
Estimate the number of active Tata Sky connections in the city of Pune in the month of February 2020. Based on the answer, I was asked to predict the number of connections in the month of April 2020.
Round 2 Question 2:
A bag consists of a bat and a ball. The cost of the bat is Rupees 100 higher than the cost of the ball. The bag costs Rupees 110. What is the cost of the bat?
Round 2 Question 3:
A bag contains 50 White Balls and 50 Black Balls. You can draw one ball at a time. How many rounds are required to ensure you have a pair of balls with the same color?
Round 3 Question 1:
A client wishes to start a new gym in the Koregaon Park area of Pune. He has allocated 5 Lakh Rupees for the marketing. What channels can you think about advertisements and explain the money allocation to these channels?
Round 3 Question 3:
One of your teammates recently joined Sokrati. He made a major mistake which was escalated by the client. How will you handle him considering that he has joined just a week back?
the process was pretty straight forward, round 1 was aptitude then GD and then a one on one round in which they asked some maths, cognitive, basic marketing - user behavior questions
